Show Miss Mary Ann Reese Tells Vows in Candlelight Ceremony Miss Mary Ann Reese, daughter daugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Reese, and David E. Bentley, son of Mrs. Ruth Bentley, exchanged exchang-ed marriage vows in a lively candlelight can-dlelight ceremony at 6:30 p. m Saturday, Feb. 12. The ceremony was performed bv Bishop Fern-lclgh Fern-lclgh Gardner at the Third Ward chapel. The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a lace and tulle gown, with a bride's ilus-ion ilus-ion veil, held with a coronet of pearls and apple blossoms. She carried a bouquet of yellow roses. Following the ceremony the young couple were honored at a reception in the Relief Society rooms, after which they left for a honeymoon trip to Las Vegas. Mr. a,nd Mrs. Bentley will make their home in Cedar City, while Mrs. Bentley continues her studies stud-ies at the Cedar City High School, and Mr. Bentlev continues to op erate a farm for his grandmother, Mrs. David Leigh. He Is a gradate grad-ate of the Cedar City High School. The bride was attended by Mrs. Phil Brinton and Mrs. Eldon Reese, matrons of honor, and by Shirleen Cox, Carol Boyns, and Donna Mae Mosdell, bridesmaids. Best man was. Dale DeMille. Little Lit-tle Miss Marilyn Reese was flower flow-er girl. Wedding music was provided pro-vided by Miss Gloria Dotson. Assisting Mrs. Reese at the re ception were Mrs. Ted Magionas, Mrs. Lester Gower, Mrs. Robert Nelson and Mrs. Orson Tait. Miss Clella Humphis was in charge of the bride's book, and Mrs. Dale DeMille and Miss Sue Petty were in charge of the gift room. Serving Serv-ing were the Misses Alice Ann Pryor, Lois Meacham, Shirlene Tait and Karren Bcatty. Ushers were Eldon Reese, J. L. Barlow and Sheldon Alger. Assisting in the kitchen were the Misses Lar- raine Palmer, Marilyn Stapley I and Barbara Batt. |
