Show CLUB AND PARTY 1IIL1TES MRS. THEBOL McARTHUR The Lohoaboy Club was entertained en-tertained at the home of Mrs. Walter Hansink Thursday night. Three tables of pinochle were present, prizes going to Mrs. Frank Milne and Mrs. LaRue , Tucker. A delicious dessert was served. Mrs. Max Cowan assisted her young son Danny at playing host to 17 friends and neighbors at a birthday party Friday afternoon. after-noon. Danny was six years old and thrilled at sharing his birthday birth-day cake with his guests. Mrs. Grace Heap was hostess to the members of her bridge club at her home Monday evening. eve-ning. Special guest was Mrs. Odessa Gentry. Refreshments were served, and bridge played with prizes going to Mrs. Virginia Virgin-ia Randall, Mrs. Helen Mathews and Mrs. Betty Randall. Miss Shauna Lindquist was hostess to 12 members of the younger set Friday night at a lovely Valentine party, at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Rigby Lindquist. Table games were played, and Valentine Valen-tine Sundaes served to the guests, j Master Ralph Wycoff was host to a group of boys at a birthday birth-day celebration Saturday afternoon. after-noon. Ralph was eight years old, and after eating birthday cake and playing games the guests were taken to the matinee. Another small fry party was the one given by Mrs. Jack Crosby Cros-by for her son Jackie Monday afternoon. Jackie was four this Valentine Day, and invited 12 friends to help him celebrate. Games were played, records were enjoyed and a program presented by the group after which party refreshments were served. I Mr. and Mrs. Anton Lambert entertained at a birthday party Sunday afternoon in honor of their son Kirby who was seven years old. Many little friends and neighbors gathered to play games and sing happy birthday to Kirby, then were thrilled to share the birthday cake, and have their pictures taken. Mrs. Shirley Wocdard was hostess host-ess to the members of her club ! at her home Thursday night. Refreshments Re-freshments were served and pinochle pi-nochle was played with prizes j going home with Mrs. Marcel-jene Marcel-jene Mathews and Mrs. Margaret Gillies. Mrs. Hyrum Tarry was hostess to the members of her club, the M B W, at her home Friday af-1 ternoon. Mrs. Pauline Hunter was in charge of the entertainment for the meeting, and a canasta j party was enjoyed by the guests. !A lovely luncheon was served after the games. |
