Show College Will Sponsor PhysEd Annual Open House The fourth annual Open House at the College of Southern Utah will be held Wednesday, Feb. 23, in the memorial fieldhouse. Open house is sponsored by the Physical Phy-sical Education department at the college under the direction of Coach Cleo Tetty, and everyone is invited to attend. Events will open with a grand entry at 7:00 p. m., to be followed follow-ed by a long series of competitive competi-tive activities between fraternities fraterni-ties and sororities on the campus. The program will include team games and individual contests. Among the contests will be volleyball, vol-leyball, sack race, table tennis, rope climbing, pull-ups, weight-lifting, weight-lifting, and with an obstacle race and tug of war as the climaxing events. A Queen will be selected on a basis of appearance and participation. partici-pation. Six men's groups, Gamma Psi Upsllon, Siga Zeta. Phi Sigma XI, and Lambda Delta Sigma fraternities, fra-ternities, the Independents and the Trades and Industries club, will compete, and four women's ill 1 4 n l. rrnvvmn groups Will also I'l.urr me Km-i- including Phi Rho Omega, Phi Alpha Beta and Xi Lambda Tau sororities and an independent group. Townspeople are invited to attend, at-tend, and are assured an evening even-ing of excellent entertainment. |
