Show Lifelong Resident Dies fit Home After Briei Illness Mrs. Betsey Ann Walker Hunter, Hun-ter, 77, a life-long resident of Cedar City, died at her home Thursday afternoon following an illness of one week. Funeral services were conducted Monday afternoon with burial in the Cedar Ce-dar City cemetery. Mrs. Hunter was born in Cedar Ce-dar City on April 21, 1S77, a daughter of John and Margaret Put-ell Walker. She was married to James Hunter who died on Dec. 15. 1951. She is survived by five sons and five daughters, Bernard Moroni, Mo-roni, Sacramento, Calif.; Joseph. W., Jack, Warren and Clinton Hunter; Mrs. Wallace (Nolat Adams, Mrs. Hiaken (May) Anderson, And-erson, Mrs. Warren (Ramona) M.nrkehir;infT nil nf fpHnr fitv Mrs. Red (Ruth) Shepherd and Mrs. Clyde (Lorenzo) Stewart, Oregon. The funeral services were conducted con-ducted at the Third Ward Chapel by Bishop Austin Hey wood. Remarks Re-marks were given by the Bishop, and speakers were Samual F. Leigh and Charles R. Hunter. Prayer at the Mortuary before the services was by Bishop Hey-wood. Hey-wood. Invocation was by Ray Lunt, benediction by Max Heap, and the dedicatory prayer by-Thomas by-Thomas Munford. The musical program included a number, "Jesus, Lover of My Soul," by a quartet composed of Ivor Jones, Henry H. Grimshawi George D. Grimshavv and Elwin Armstrong; a duet, "Cast Thy Bread Upon the Water," by Mr. Armstrong and George D. Grim-shaw, Grim-shaw, and a vocal solo, "That Wonderful Mother of Mine," by Clive Hartman. Farrell Dene Whatcott was at the organ. |
