Show Stake Relief Society Women Combine Talents To Sponsor Next Annual Fund-Raising Bazaar Women of 10 wards of Cedar Stake will assemble a large number of items to please consumers con-sumers Thursday, Nov. 11, in the second annual Cedar Stake Relief Re-lief Society bazaar. The bazaar has been planned to provide hand made articles for people to buy and to raise money for the Cedar Stake-Sixth Ward chapel. cha-pel. A concert by the Cedar City Master Singers will also be a feature of the day's program. A pre-bazaar activity is under way with a quilt being made which will be on display at the bazaar. Both men and women of the stake are writing their names on quilt blocks, for which they pay 50 cents per name. Those who wish to add their names may do so by contacting their respective ward Relief Society So-ciety officers. Materials for the quilt are being furnished by the Stake Relief Society, All of the money raised will be added to the building fund. Each ward will supervise a different dif-ferent phase of , the bazaar, and each will have baked goods to sell. Although the wards will have a specific kind of article to sell, ward members may con- uiuuic any ij ui ill line 10 their ward Relief Society for placement in the various booths. Wards and booths they will supervise include: Cedar First, infants' wear; Cedar Second, garden plants and items used in the garden; Cedar Third, toys; Cedar Fourth, gifts; Cedar Fifth, children's clothing; Cedar Sixth, aprons; College, trousseau items; Newcastle and New Harmony, produce; Kanarraville, quilts. Besides the items for sale in the bazaar, sandwiches and other food will be sold for both adults and children. A children's program is to be arranged with features which young people will enjoy, includ-inc includ-inc a Dicture show and a varie- ty program. The Stake Relief Society presidency presi-dency includes: Mrs. W. L. Jones, Mrs. William Dover and Mrs. Ray Lunt, with Loretta Perry as secretary. sec-retary.
