LaMar Clark Serves With Victorious Army Football Team LaMar Clark, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Clark of Cedar City. . and a former popular athlete of this city, has continued his athletic ath-letic endeavors while serving with the United States Army in Germany, It was reported this week. LaMar has been playing football foot-ball with an Army Base team and so far this season his team is undefeated, it is understood. Some of the local fans would not recognize him now, however. how-ever. At the present time he Is tipping the scales at 210 pounds. Working under a former coach it the University of North Carolina, Caro-lina, LaMar reports that he has been offered an athletic scholar-ship scholar-ship to that school upon the completion of his present tour of duty. His tour of duty will be completed com-pleted in June and his parents anticipate that he will leave Germany Ger-many sometime in April to return re-turn to the United States.
