Show Visiting Deer Hunter Tells of Three I Who Didn't Get Away Orvil Moore of San Fernando, Calif., who is up here to hunt deer with Verl Pollock, formerly of Kanarraville, and a brother of Mrs. Marrel Bayles of Parowan, had a very unusual and pleasing experience Sunday while hunting deer up in Bear Valley. While working his way up through a thick patch of oak, he looked up ahead of him in a little lit-tle opening and saw the head of a iour-poini uuiK swt'King aDove the brush. He shot and it dropped, drop-ped, and he continued working his way towafd it. He looked up again, and there it stood, only this time he could only see two points on its head. He shot it again and it dropped, and he continued con-tinued on his way up to it, keeping keep-ing watch on the spot. All at once the deer's head appeared again, this time showing four points. Moore shot again and the deer dropped. Moore finally reached the spot and found when he got there, not one but three deer, two 4-point bucks and a 2-point, all stretched out in a small area. Mr. Pollock recited the account of this happening hap-pening to us and we imagine it i was quite a help in filling up their hunting party. |
