Show Deer Hunters Suffer Gunshot Wounds In Season Mishaps Cecil D. Gilliam, 33, Enoch, suffered a severe gun shot wound in his rght shoulder late Sunday Sun-day afternoon while hunting deer in Bearvalley. Mr. Gi'len, with his wife and son,, Doug, had driven to the area, and the accident occured as he was taking his gun from the car to shoot at deer that had been spotted. The gun accidentally accident-ally discharged and struck Gilliam Gill-iam In the shoulder. He was rushed to the hospital in Cedar City for treatment, and is reported to be making a satisfactory satis-factory recovery. He suffered consider con-sider jl)ly from-loss of blood and needed blood transfusions and surgery to remove the bullet. Another, Edward Terrell, 31, Rosemead, Calif., suffered a gunshot gun-shot wound when his gun accidentally acci-dentally discharged. He was treated at the county hospital. He was hunting in the Beaver area, and is reported to have been injured while carrying a deer to the highway. He was reported re-ported to have slipped, striking the gun on the ground, accl-dently accl-dently discharging it, the bullet hitting him in the arm. |
