Show Enoch and Midvalley Mr. and Mrs. Millard Halter-man Halter-man and Mr. and Mrs. Glen Hal-terman Hal-terman spent the July 4 week end In California. Visitors in Enoch for the July 4 week end were Mr. and Mrs. Ashton Smith and family of Tooele, Too-ele, Mr. and Mrs. Roice Chamberlain Cham-berlain of Orderville, Mr. and Mrs. Jay Halterman and family of American Fork, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Kellogg and family of Reseda, Calif., Mr. and Mrs. La-Von La-Von Jones and family of Denver. Mr. Jones has returned to Denver but Mrs. Jones and the family remained here for a longer visit; vi-sit; , before returning to their home. A baby boy was born to Mr. and Richard Halterman of Pro-vo Pro-vo on July 5. The grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Claude Adams of Parowan and Mr. and Mrs. Millard Halterman of Midvalley. Miss Mina Ruth. Muse and Miss Belta Rogers of Salt Lake City visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Scott Hendricks for a few days last week. Miss Muse is a sister of Mrs. Hendricks. Gaylen Matheson left July 1 to report to his base in New Jer-sey. Jer-sey. He and his brother Floyd, who is now in New Jersey expect ex-pect to sail for Germany in the near future. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Gibson and family of Dragerton visited here Saturday and Sunday. ' . Everyone in Enoch and Midvalley Mid-valley seemed to enjoy the Independence Inde-pendence Day celebration. After seeing the parade in Cedar City the people returned to enjoy a program in the church. During the afternoon they gathered at the Grimshaw home for sports and refreshments. An old time dance was held in the evening. Mrs. Cora GoodWin spent a few days visiting with the Hunter Hun-ter Gibson family here. |
