Show ENOCH AND MIDVALLEY NEWS Mr. and Mrs. Glendon Heaton went to Salt Lake City last Saturday Sat-urday to take John Heaton, who i will spend the holidays with his I daughter Louise and family. Mr. and Mrs. John Anderson have gone to San Diego to spend the remainder of the winter. I Mr. and Mrs. Ray Jones of ; Fallon, Nev., spent a few days j visiting here. Ray is a brother of 'Stanford Jones and Mrs. Une Williams. Arlen Grimshaw, David Anderson Ander-son and Robert Simkins went to Salt Lake City over the week end to visit with relatives. The members of the Mutual Improvement Association went caroling Tuesday night. Frank Halterman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Millard llaherman, is home for Christmas. Frank is serving with the Marine Corps and is stationed at Oeeanside, Calif. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Smith have gonp to Yerrington, Nev. to spend the holidays with their son, Bill Davis and family. Bud Smith, another son who is stationed with tiie army at Camp Still-man, Still-man, Calif., will join them there for Christmas. Aurella Jones Is home for the holidays. She is attending .school at the Brigham Young university at Provo this winter. The Enoch ward Primary gave a Christmas party Wednesday evening consisting of a play and a visit from Santa Claus. Mrs. Lavern Cope, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Urie Williams, has a new son. She is now at home with her parents. Scott Hendricks is spending Christmas with his family in Salt Lake City. Millard Halterman, who has been in the hospital in Salt Lake City, Is improving and is expected expect-ed home next week. His son Glen, who is in the veteran's hospital, is coming home to spend Christ mas, but will return next Monday. Mon-day. The Relief Society will hold a dance New Year's Eve and everybody Ls invited. |
