Show KAHARRAVniE The M I A held a Christmas party and dance Tuesday, Dec. 16. They had a Christmas tree and exchanged gifts. Sunday evening they held a candlelight service. Tuesday evening the M. I. A. members went caroling. George A. Berry was a week end visitor at Las Vegas. Mrs. Estella Williams spent a few days in California with relatives. rela-tives. Truman Rollins, Theon Thorley and Garth Hall of Cedar City- were visitors at saciament meeting meet-ing Sunday. Hannah A. Davis received word of the birth of a granddaughter at the Iron County hospital to her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Vivian Prince of New Harmony. Our school held a Christmas play and entertainment Monday evening under the direction of the teachers, Andrew Olds and Mrs. Alenna Williams. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Struble of Cedar City and Mr. and Mrs. Dave Dixon of Provo were Sunday Sun-day visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Rowen Williams. Marvin Christensen, who has employment at Billings, Mont., is home for the holidays. The Sunday School held a Christmas program on Sunday morning.. Mrs. Delora Hunt of New Harmony Har-mony visited here for a few days with her grandmother, Amanda Williams. Samuel F. Leigh of Cedar City called on old friends here last week. Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Davies and children were Sunday visitors at St. George. Miss Barbara Williams was a business visitors at Provo. Mr. and Mrs. Willard Williams attended funeral services at To-querville To-querville Monday for Mrs. Mabel Stapley. Carl Smith has gone to Salt Lake 'City for a few week's visit with his sister, Mrs. Mae Banks. Rosalie Graff is home on leave from hPr station in Waco, Texas for the holidays. |
