Show Broncos Face Stiff Competition in Westminster Contest The Branch Agricultural col-1 lege football team will play its second conference game of the season and its second home' game when the Broncos and the; Westminster Parsons tangle on the BAC gridiron Friday night as a part of home-coming day activities. The Salt Lake City team is perhaps the strongest in the school's history according to word received from the state capital, and the Broncos will have their hands full to handle the rampaging Parsons. Southern Idaho College of Education Edu-cation at Albion, always a strong representative in the lCAC football wars, was closed last spring and the Idaho coach and a large number of his players moved into the Westminster camp to give the church school a powerful team. Last week the Parsons defeated Snow college, for its first conference win, and while the score was close, 12 to 6, the Parsons' domination of the game was much more convincing, convinc-ing, and those who saw the game expect a tough evening for the fighting Broncos. The Broncos will be outweighed but Coach Dave Gates feels certain cer-tain that they will not be outfought, out-fought, and plenty of fireworks can be expected in this encoun ter, ii couia easily be trie best game of the reason, and with a victory important to both squads fans may expect to see both teams go all out from the opening open-ing whistle to the closing gun. The Broncos must win this one if they expect to stay in the conference race, and the Parsons will want to win to stay in a tie for first where the Badger victory put them last week. |
