Show Legion Auxiliary Trio Prepares for Trip to Convention Members of the prize-winning American Legion auxiliary vocal trio will leave Cedar City the early part of next week bound I for Miami, Fla., and the national ? American Legion convention. ' The local ladies will be out to win their second straight championship cham-pionship In the vocal trio con- test, which is held as part of ; the convention. They won first prize last year at the convert-! convert-! tion in Los Angeles and re peated with another win in the state contest this year. It has not been decided yet whether the group will leave by car or train. Utah will also be represented by another group, ; the vocal quartet from Richfield, i which won state honors this year I and will be out to cop a national I championship. I Members of the trio from Ce dar City are: Mrs. Nalda Card- ner, Mrs. Gladys Isom, Mrs. Lua- na Riddle and Mrs. Mary Jane j Seaman, accompanist. However, a number of! pledges have been made, and it is hoped that other contributions contribu-tions within the next few daysj will put the campaign over the' top. .
