Show Enoch and Midvalley .Most of the members of the Enoch ward attended a wedding reception for Mr. and Mrs. Richard Rich-ard Halterman at the home of Mrs. Halterman's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Claude Adams in Paro-wan Paro-wan Saturday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Armstrong of Provo have been visiting here this week. They made the trip at this time because of the death of Mrs. Armstrong's brother, Frank B. Wood of Cedar City. Saturday the M I A Maids, the Priests and Teachers, with chaperons chap-erons Bishop and Mrs. Stanley Smith, and Mr. and Mrs. Hunter Gibson, made a trip to Grand canyon. The group left at 4 a. m. eating breakfast enroute. They enjoyed a chicken dinner and a few hours sight -seeing at Grand canyon, then returned to Zion National park for a weenie roast In the ovening. Mr. and -Mrs. Ivor Jones, and Mrs. Myron Jones, made a trip to Salt Lake City last week end to bring Myron Jones home from the hospital where he had undergone un-dergone an operation. Mr. Jones stood the trip home very well and will soon be around again his family reports. The Genealogical committee of the Parowan stake sponsored a social at the Summit ward recreation recre-ation hall Monday evening, with the stake presidency and the bishoprics of the various wards as guests. The principal purpose of the party was to encourage temple work during the coming winter. |
