Show ENTERPRISE Surfacing of seven blocks of Enterprise streets is now underway, under-way, with mr.ch of preliminary financing the oiling project work now completed. State funds which provides for surfacing of the streets near the center of town have been secured and in the advent of good weather, the work is expected to be completed in the near future. The playground project, sponsored spon-sored by the local PTA during the last school season, has progressed pro-gressed according to plan during the summer months. The grounds have been leveled with a large carry-all tractor at a cost of $180 and will soon be planted with grass. Negotiations are being made for poles from the mountains with wMeh4e build swings, and through the county-help county-help fund, swing chains and teeter boards will be supplied. It is expected that the playground equipment will be assembled In time for the opening of school. H Hf Reorganization of the Ward Relief Re-lief Society here has released Mrs. Thelma Stahell as president and Mrs. Marlbah Holt and Mrs. Beulah Staheli as counselors. Thelma Staheli and Mrs. Holt have served in the capacity for five years, and Mrs. Beulah Staheli nearly two years, during which time the unit has gone over the top with all required and voluntary projects. The new presidency consists of Mrs. Marilla Cook, president; Mrs. Madge Hunt and Mrs. Dora Clove, counsellors. |
