Show Twenty Elk Will be Taken on Cedar Mountain The Elk hunting proclamation issued by thq State Fish and Game Commission provides for the killing of twenty elk on Cedar Ce-dar mountain this year. The hunt will be held from October 28 to November 6, with the hunters hunt-ers allowed to take elk of either sex. Permits for these elk as well as nearly 900 to be taken elsewhere else-where in the state, will be issued is-sued on a drawing basis. Applications Appli-cations for permits must be filed with the Fish and Game Commission Com-mission at room 500, Atlas building, build-ing, Salt Lake City, Utah by 5:00 p. m. September 11 if delivered de-livered in person, or post marked mark-ed not later than 12 midnight September 11, if mailed. No applications ap-plications will be accepted before August 23. If more applications are received receiv-ed for any unit than the number of permits allotted a public drawing will be held at 2 p. m. September 17 at the State Capital Building in Salt Lake City. |
