Show Drawing Pairs Teams for Softball Tourney Slated Here Next Week Drawings for the second annual an-nual Southern Utah Softball Tournament to be held In Cedar City next Wednesday, through Saturday were made this morning, morn-ing, and the big event will get underway at 7:00 p. m. Wed-nesday, Wed-nesday, August 18 on the Lions field. The powerful Enterprise team will tangle with another powerful aggregation, the St. George Firemen, In the opening contest. Immediately following this the Iron Mountain team of Cedar City will square off against the Hurricane Lions team. In the final game of the first night's play the Iron County Record team of Cedar City will tangle with Beaver. The remaining six teams draw byes for the opening night and will meet in three games on the second night, Thursday, August 19. The drawings paired Rocky Mountain Produce of Santa Clara with Bradshaw Chevrolet Co. of Cedar City at 7:00 p. m. follow-ed follow-ed by the Cedar City Elks vs the Ely Valley Mines of Pioche, with Lunt Motor company of Cedar Ce-dar City playing Pickett Lumber Company of St George in the final game of the second night. The outstanding player and the best sportsman of the tournament will each receive a medal, one contributed by the Milne Truck Line and one by the Arden Dairy both Cedar City firms. Each game will be for the regulation reg-ulation seven Innings with the rulings of specially appointed umpires being final in all Instances. In-stances.
