Show Resources Unit Sets Cedar Meet Tuesday Members of the Resources Committee of the Utah Association Associa-tion of Chamber of Commerce Executives of Utah will meet with the Cedar City Lions Club and Cedar City Rotary Club, in joint session, Tuesday, August 17, at 12:15 p. m. it was announced an-nounced by J. Leaders will meet with Dr. ElKoy Nelson, acting director of the Bureau of Business and Economic Eco-nomic Research of the University of Utah, five graduate student research workers, H. Wright Vol-ker, Vol-ker, Salt Lake City, secretary of the Resources Committee, and a number of state business and industrial in-dustrial leaders. An outline of the results of surveys of natural resources already al-ready made, and an outline of the work being planned will be presented. An open discussion is expected to bring out methods whereby Industry can be introduced intro-duced Into the smaller communities, commun-ities, agriculture improved, and present industries expanded. Local Lo-cal residents will be invited to submit data on local natural resources re-sources which can be incorporated incorpor-ated into the state economy or natural resources which are available for new industry and new capital. |
