If you price your home too low, you may sell it but at the same time lose more than the broker would have cost you in the first place. You should probably have a professional appraisal made (which will cost anywhere from $100 to $150). With such an appraisal, you are in a slightly better position to sound out local lenders on their willingness to extend financing to any qualified buy- - er.
