Especially prized by collectors are those tankards officially issued by leading breweries richly embellished with the proud emblems that have come to signify preeminence in the brewmaster's art. Franklin Porcelain has had the privilege of creating, for the world's great brewing houses, a number of privately issued miniature tankards. These individual tankards are produced as presentation pieces expressly for the use of the issuing brewery. As such, each reflects a standard of quality and intricacy of design not Finely often found in miniatures of this kind. Only a very small number of these handsome earthenware tankards are ever produced for any one brewery. And given the private nature of their issue they are extremely difficult to come by. But now, Franklin Porcelain with the permission of the individual brewing houses has assembled a collection of these unique miniature tankards from the world's great breweries. And we are able to offer the complete collection exclusively by direct subscription on a limited basis. Collector's tankards from around the world The collection will consist of 35 tankards from as many leading breweries. In every case, the overall shape of the tankard will be an original design created exclusively for this important issue. And each tankard will bear the official emblem that symbolizes the brewery issuing it. For example: The white bull elephant of Denmark's Carls-berbeer. The key and crest of Germany's Beck's lager. Montezuma, the Sun King, on g Mexico's Dos Equis ale. The Irish harp of Guinness stout. The stately coat of arms for Spain's Aguila beer. The distinctive red triangle the world's oldest registered trademark on England's Bass ale. And other unique emblems from breweries in every quarter of the globe . . .Sapporo of Japan, San Miguel of the Philippines, Leopard of New Zealand, Red Stripe of Jamaica. The complete collection of 35 brewery tankards varying in shape, in color and in design will be totally fascinating. A tour of the world's great breweries.
