Show Pruning taught FARMINGTON Several pruning prun-ing demonstrations, sponsored by the Utah Botanical Gardens, have been scheduled for anyone interested inter-ested in getting spring pruning done correctly. All demonstrations are free to the public. Pre-registration is encouraged en-couraged by calling 451-3204. An apple pruning demonstration will be held March 13 at 5 p.m. at the Kaysville farm, located Va mile south of Davis High School on Main Street. Peach and nectarine pruning will be the topic of the March 21 demonstration. dem-onstration. This starts at 5 p.m. at the Kaysville farm. Small fruit pruning, including grapes and raspberries, will be the topic for the March 22 program. This will be held at 5 p.m. at the Horticultural Farm, 1817 N. Main, Farmington. On April 5 at 10 a.m., a vegetable gardening class for beginners will be held at the Horticultural Farm. This class is also free to the public. Pre-registration is required. |
