Show Joint protection and oxorcisG topic of moot p Joint protection refers to doing everyday tasks, such as working and cleaning the house, in ways that reduce the stress on joints affected by arthritis. Overuse and abuse of joints with arthritis can lead to increased in-creased pain and swelling. Learning how to protect your joints and make work easier will help to reduce pain and save energy. Robert Taylor, M.D., will present information on joint protec tion and exercise at the Arthritis Education and Support Group. The free discussion, sponsored by the Arthritis Foundation, will be held on Thursday, Feb. 27 at 6:30 p.m. at the Layton Library, 155 N. Wasatch Drive.
