Show Ornament foods' arrested By MARK EDDINGTON Staff Writer CENTERVILLE Three juveniles juv-eniles responsible for the theft of 45 vehicle hood ornaments were arrested ar-rested recently by a Centerville police officer. Centerville detective Chris Symes said the youths were arrested after they were seen by witnesses removing the ornament from a Cadillac in the parking lot at Dick's Market, located at 350 E. Pages Lane. Symes said the witnesses reported the teens to police. Officer Von Steenblik arrived minutes later, but the three suspects had fled on their bicycles. Steenblik was able to locate and arrest the juveniles a short time later. Police officers confiscated 10 vehicle hood ornaments from one of the suspects and several more from another. The youths admitted to police they had been stealing auto emblems over a two-month period. Officers later searched the suspect's home and recovered more ornaments. or-naments.
