Cost of the luncheon is $7 for guests and members who have not prepaid. KAYSVILLE Fred S. Ball will speak at the Kaysville Area Chamber of Commerce monthly membership meeting March 4 at 12 noon in the Kaysville City Building at 23 E. Center. Ball is president and chief executive ex-ecutive officer of the Salt Lake Area Chamber of Commerce, a position he has held since January 1971. Prior to that time he worked for 16 years for IML Freight Incorporated, Incor-porated, where he completed a career ca-reer as vice president and general sales manager. A native of Ogden, Ball graduated from Ogden High School and Weber State College, where he served as student body president. Ball presently serves as vice chairman chair-man of the Weber State University Board of Trustees. He is a two-time winner of the Alumnus of the Year Award from Weber State. He also ecutives International, Transportation Transporta-tion Man of the Year by the Utah Traffic Association, Speaker of the Year by Toastmasters International and Citizen of the Year by the Utah Jaycees. He is the first recipient of the Utah State Governor's Department Depart-ment of Commerce Leader of the Year Award and has received the Minute-Man Award and Citizen of the Year Award from the Utah National Guard. Ball is an honorary colonel in the Utah National Guard and an honorary colonel of both the Salt Lake City Police Department and the Salt Lake County Sheriff's office. of-fice. Ball and his wife, Joyce, are parents of four daughters and have 1 2 grandchildren. The public is invited to attend the membership luncheon. Ball serves on numerous boards of directors including the Utah Symphony, the Central Business Improvement District, the Downtown Alliance, the KSL Advisory Ad-visory Board, the Economic Development De-velopment Corporation of Utah, the Primary Children's Health and Safety Executive Board, the Holy Cross Hospital Foundation, the LDS Sunday School Board and the board of the Salt Lake Country Club. He serves as vice chairman of the Salt Lake City Olympic Bid Committee Com-mittee and was recently installed as vice president of the Salt Lake Rotary.
