Show Veron 'Vera' Moss LAYTON Veron "Vern" Edward Moss, 84, of 215 N. Main, died Friday, Oct. 28, 1988 at his home of cancer. He was born March 25, 1904 in Bountiful, a son of Robert William and Flora Elmina Putnam Moss. He married Emma Dean Oct. 14, 1926, in Evanston, Wyo. They were later divorced. He married Mina Urilda Wright April 29, 1941, in Virginia City, Nev. He was reared and educated in Davis County. He had lived in San Francisco, Calif, for three years and had lived in the Bountiful, Clearfield and Layton area for the remainder of his life. He was a member of the LDS Church. He had been production mana- zabeth Rose; invocation, Jim Weir; remarks, Bishop Ned Iverson; speaker, John Baker; "Leader of the Band" by Wayne McKay; speakers, Alvin McBride and Roger Ro-ger Felt; "The Lord's Prayer" by Effie Rich; benediction, Jeff Dun-ford. Dun-ford. Dedication of the grave in the Bountiful City Cemetery was by Hyrum "Bill" Talbot. Pallbearers were Steven Moss, William Moss, Earle Hobby, Jef-fery Jef-fery Moss, Benjamin Moss and Jeremiah Moss. Honorary pallbearers were Jacob Moss, Michael Hobby, Kent Moss, Robert Orullian, Gary Moss, Brent Moss and David Moss. ger tor the Woods Cross Canning Company and had also been a real estate salesman. He was active in the business development in Layton and Clearfield. He was an avid sportsman, rock collector and artist. . . Surviving are his widow of V Layton, two sons and two daughters, daugh-ters, William Dean Moss, River-dale; River-dale; Steven Kent Moss, Layton; June M. Harris, Raleigh, North Carolina; Kathy M. Hobby, Fair-view; Fair-view; 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by one son. Funeral directors,. Lindquist's Kaysville Mortuary.
