Show TOPS loses in weight but gains in membership; division planned Johnson, LaNae Herbert and JoEll Swenson were in charge. Membership in TOPS is open to anyone desiring to join and interested in Taking Off Pounds Sensibly. Since the February organization organiza-tion of TOPS Figure Artists, the club has grown from 17 members to its present 75 members. Because of this growth in memberships it is necessary for a division of the club and another club is to be formed announces JoAnn De-Hass, De-Hass, TOPS leader. Elections will be held at the August 12 meeting at the Community Com-munity Service Center at 7 p.m. All members are encouraged encour-aged to attend this division and participate in electing the new officers. Nominations will be from the floor. National suggests sug-gests memberships not exceed 50 for a more effective organization. organ-ization. The present club held a successful suc-cessful canyon party at Kelly's Grove on July 29 in the form of a steak fry with husbands as special guests. A short business bus-iness meeting was held and weekly loss was reported. Madge Johnson was crowned weekly queen and presented with a lovely gift. Arthella |
