Show States, countries represented at art museum Summer activities at the Springville Art Gallery shows that visitors from 32 states and six foreign countries have visited visit-ed the gallery since the end of the April Art Exhibit closed. Listed are the following places pla-ces from which visitors have come to see the art and its exhibits ex-hibits including the permanent collection in the museum: Cali- fornia, Utah, Washington, Nevada, Ne-vada, New Mexico, Idaho, Oregon, Ore-gon, New York, Colorado, Oklahoma, Ok-lahoma, Hawaii, Missouri, Pen-nseylvania, Pen-nseylvania, Georgia, Tennessee, North Dakota, Wyoming, Illinois, Illi-nois, Ohio, New Jersey, Arkansas, Arkan-sas, Florida, Kansas, Alabama, Switzerland, Canada, Mexico, England, Germany and France. Exhibit schedule Currently there are two one-man one-man shows being exhiibted at the gallery including J. Roman Andrus and Trevor Southey. Planned for exhibit in September Septem-ber also will be a one man show by Oliver Parson, former art curator and instructor at the high school and presently in the art department of Ricks College. Scheduled for October will be a one man show of sculpture by James Young. The Parson show will remain through October Oct-ober also. November Max Weaver will exhibit a pottery and paintings show along with James Yonug's show and a fall festival planned plan-ned for Springville artists. These exhibits will appear in three different galleries at the center. December will feature a one man show by Milford Zormes and will be of watercolor. Mr. Weaver's show will continue and there will be a children's art show also, according to di-rectoi, di-rectoi, Bruce Braithwaite. |
