Show Mapleton American Legion post organized and officers named I Mount Maple Post 51 of the American Legion has been organized or-ganized at Mapleton and the initial set of officers for the service organization elected. John Bleggi has been elected commander. Ray Bulow and Fred Medved have been named first and second vice-commanders, respectively. Other officers include: Hal Brinkerhoff, adjutant; Neno Antoneno, finance officer; Niel Steiner, chaplain; Lenard Allan, Al-lan, historian; Wave Miguel, service officer; Leonard Mason, sergeant at arms. Committee members are Quinton Lowe, Americanism; John Bleggi, child welfare; Marty Perrero, employment; Condie Crandall, publicity. Executive committee members mem-bers are Condie Crandall, Lynn Bjarnson. John Bleggi, commander. com-mander. The newly organized post meets on the third Tuesday of each month in the new Mapleton Maple-ton City Building at 8p.m. Any veteran is invited and eligible to join the post.
