The computer is designed to support the en route air traffic control services by providing automatic flight plan message collection, automatic auto-matic flight progress strip preparation and distribution within ARTCC, and automatic message interchange between adjacent ARTCC's. He is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Howard W. Hutchings of Springville. His wife is the former Bonnie Peay, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph H. Peay of Mapleton. Five generations with 87 year old great grandmother, Lydia Evans of Delta present, met at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Will Whiting to greet baby ba-by Jason Timothy Sturzeneg-ger, Sturzeneg-ger, a grandson of Milo Johnson John-son of Needles, California. The Johnsons came especially to see the baby blessed in Mapleton Third Ward. Besides Mrs. Evans Ev-ans was her daughter, Marva E. Whiting, Milo E. Johnson, Kathy J. Sturzenegger, and her son, Jason Timothy. Boilermaker Russell Snyder has returned tc San Diego with his new bride the former Donna Dickerson of Lehi. He has an-othei an-othei year to serve before being be-ing released from service in the Navy. A brother Kent, who has been employed at Howe, Idaho, for the summer came home tor the wedding reception which was held in Lehi last week. The Snyder's took a quickie trip to Idaho to return him back to Howe along with Lynn Williams and Jim Averett. Guy Nielson was elected to become chairman of the next annual Anthon Nielson family reunion replacing Di. Rex Whiting of Heber City. About 70 family members met on the park Saturday representing the families of Lorin A. Nielson, Jim Nielson, Marcellus Nielson, Erastus Nielson and Sadie Whiting. Coming the farthest was lone Nielson Whiting of Las Vegas. Mr. and Mrs. Freeman Vesco of DuBois, Penn., spent several days visiting members of the Bleggi family before going on to Canada. Mrs. Vesco is a niece of the late Mrs. Tony Antonino. It has been several year since they have been west to visit relatives here. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Johnson, John-son, former resident ot Springville Spring-ville and now of Sun City Arizona Ar-izona spent last week in the Springville-Mapleton area renewing re-newing acquaintances and enjoying en-joying the canyon areas. Steven and Kay Bird Wis-combe Wis-combe are here from Bartons-ville, Bartons-ville, Oklahoma, with three sons, Lawrence. LaMar and John. They will be returning by way of scenic Wyoming. Dr. Phillip Washburn with sons Brooke, Gavin, and David joined a Provo group in San Diego for a four day deep sea fishing excursion on a chartered charter-ed boat. Fishing was excellent, weather was great and the ad-ventureous ad-ventureous foursome returned home tanned and jubilant. Mrs. Washburn took the youngest children. Laird, Bent, and Kris-tiane, Kris-tiane, to St. George for a visit with her mother for a few days. Homebound from an extensive exten-sive month's tour of the British Isles and Europe is Mrs. Shie-lah Shie-lah Merryweather and daughter Cindy. She was met at London Airport by four brothers whom she had not seen for fifteen years. Her mother resides at Rose Cottage, Camborne, Cornwall, Corn-wall, England. Mrs. Merry-weather Merry-weather is a nurse at the Pay-son Pay-son Hospital, president of the Lady Lion's of Mapleton and a member of American Legion Auxiliary of Springville. They visited Paris, France and many other interesting places on the continent. Troop 66 BSA spent five days in the Uinta Mountains last week. Clip Taylor, Charles Bayless, John Roylance and Arnold Wilson were in charge and report a fine trip with the boys. They will be staying for two weeks. i Mr . and Mrs. Robert A. Hutchings with children Becky, Debbie, David and Steven will be leaving soon to live for a short time in Oklahoma. Robert has been selected to attend the first Air Route Traffic Control Center (ARTCC) IBM 9020 computer class which is being held at the FA A Academy in Oklahoma. He will be attending |
