Show Jomiko to arrive from Japan Japan. She lived with her grandparents, but after they both died, she lost contact with her mother and subsequently subse-quently wrote to a San Francisco newspaper with an office in Tokyo asking for help in finding her lost family. The story appeared in a West Coast paper and also in Casper, Wyoming, paper and then the Moultons were located here ten months ago. A touching bit of human kindness through donations from the entire intermoun-tain intermoun-tain west has swelled a fund to bring Tomiko here since she was able to write and talk to her mother. The fund was set up by the Springville Spring-ville Chamber of Commerce and collections of upwards of $500 to pay for the girl's fare, were collected. Miss Hatekayma has graduated grad-uated from high school and has been working as a receptionist re-ceptionist at a hotel in Japan. Ja-pan. She will vacation en-route en-route home with her parents and plans to reside here with other family members, Loran, 15. Jess, 14, and Sally, Sal-ly, 10. Mr. and Mrs. Arlo Moul-tcn Moul-tcn will leave for San Francisco Fran-cisco August 13 and arrive August 15 when they will m eet Mrs. Moulton's daughter, daugh-ter, Tomiko Hatekayma, as she arrives in the United States and joins her mother after being separated for many years. Tomike was just a tiny child when she was prevented prevent-ed from immigrating with her mother to the United States. She was denied entrance en-trance aagin several years ago when the Moultons tried to bring her here from |
