Show ' ISHHlHPKniK " Mrs. Boyd Cobbley, nee Tamra Swenson New Mr. and Mrs. Cobbley at home here after wedding A beautiful mid summer reception re-ception honoring the new Mr. and Mrs. Boyd G. Cobbley, nee Tamara Swenson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John C. Swenson, Swen-son, was held recently in the Kolob Stake House following their marriage, which was per- formed July 11 by Elder Joel Richards in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Cobbley parents of the groom hosted a wedding luncheon at the Chuch-a-Rama, following the ceremony. Chosen colors for the wedding wed-ding reception were green and apricot. The wedding party stood before an Austrian draped drap-ed background with tiny twin-kel twin-kel lights bedecking it and overhead ov-erhead a beautiful crystal chandelier. Apricot and green flowers were used throughout the hall. Cupid and floral or-rangements or-rangements were used on the buffet, register and guest tables. ta-bles. A beautiful three tier wedding cake with a small bride and groom ascending an apricot stairway, made of the bridesmaids dress material, to a temple on the top, was displayed dis-played centrally. Gift tables and trousseau tables ta-bles were wrapped in Austrian crapes, .as were the dividers throughout the hall. For the all important occasion occas-ion the bride chose a gown fashioned of embroidered silk organza. A pointed lact bodice with tiny pearl and sequin trim, set off a, sweetheart neckline long pointed sleeves. The three-tiered three-tiered skirt was floor-length. A nest of seed-pearls and tiny satin bells held the veil of illusion il-lusion and the bridal bouquet was of white roses tied with white satin ribbon. Attendants to the bride were in apricot floor-length gowns gathered at the waist by an apricot tone-on-tone sash, with high stand-up ruffle collars. Each carried a nosegay of white and green daisies. They were Rosemary Clark, maid of honor; bridesmaids, Janice Knight, Cindy Stansfield, Kath-rine Kath-rine Robertson, Patricia Whiting, Whit-ing, sisters of the bride; Elaine and Paula Kaye Swenson, were junior bridesmaids. Kenneth Swenson stood as best-man for the groom and Scott Mower was the greeter. Mrs. Swenson chose a floor-length floor-length avacado crepe gown with bonded lace yoke and sleeves, while Mrs. Cobbley's dress was also fashioned in avacado, with a striking v-neck line. They wore corsages of white gardenias. Seated at the guest jok were Branda Morgan and Ei-lene Ei-lene Simonsen. Mrs. Wilbur Snelson directed the serving which was done by Jan Wheeler, Laurie Jones, Sheila Dansie, Kae Anderson, Camille Stansfield and Sally Swenson. Mrs. Mays Anderson, Mrs. Ludell Orr and Mrs. Robert Frazier were arranging the gifts. Greeting guests at the door were Mr. and Mrs. Richard Wheeler and Mr. and Mrs. Russell Stansfield. David Swenson, Kay Wheeler Wheel-er and Kelly Wheeler acted as gift bearers. Special guests for the evening eve-ning were grandparents of the bride and groom, Mr. and Mrs. Mirl Ford, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Swenson of Provo and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Cobbley of Heber. The new Mrs. Cobbley was given a personal shower by Rosemary Clark, Cindy Stansfield Stans-field and Kathrine Robertson prior to the reception. The young couple entertained close family members the following fol-lowing day at their new apartment, apart-ment, where the wedding cake was served and the unopened gifts were opened. Following a short honeymoon they are making their home in Springville where the groom is employed. |
