Show BYU plays three games at home The air is filled with ' all kinds of catching things this winter and BYU's Stan Watts is looking for a quick cure for the bug that's bit the Cougars. Stan isn't sure what caused the lethargy in his team's performance per-formance in San Francisco, losing lo-sing 79-775 and to Houston 98-75, 98-75, over the weekend, but he is hoping the team will shake it beofre this weekend. BYU is scheduled to play three ball games in four days; Oregon State on Friday, Denver Den-ver on Saturday, and Syracuse on Monday. And, fortunately for the Cougars, all three will be played in the Smith Field-house. Field-house. Whatever it is that has slowed slow-ed the Cougars, the symptoms are familiar to many basketball teams. Very often it develops, that a team will win and look good at home while losing and looking bad on the road. Such has been the case with the Cougars. They looked great in beating USC and Seattle at home, but performed poorly in three losses away from home. It is easier to drown than most people think. |
