Show Snowmobiles pose problem Winter sport enthusiasts have taken to the new sport of s n o w-mobiling in increasing numbers bringing more people into wintering areas of game and this has become of great concern to the Division of Fish and Game because of the potential po-tential danger to the animals and the individual snowmobil-ers. snowmobil-ers. Deer and elk are at a critical time during the winter months because it is difficult to obtain food to sustain them and the pregnant females 'are at a particularly par-ticularly critical time, carrying carry-ing young which will be born in the late spring. These animals have little reserve re-serve strength at this time so anytime they are pushed by individuals in-dividuals on snow machines they tire easily and have difficulty dif-ficulty in recovering from the extra effort expended. Endangering the lives of the animals and their unborn young are not the only problems, but avalanches are a constant source of danger along with the possibility of being caught far from any help with a broken down snowmobile. Division of Fish and Game officials asked all persons using us-ing snowmobiles this winter to refrain from pursuing or har-rassing har-rassing game animals for the benefit of the game and to avoid possible prosecution under un-der the Utah law prohibiting pursing game out of season. Dear Dear Santa Claus Thank you for the tilings you brought me last year. How are you and Mrs. Claus? This year I want an Etch a Sketch, a baby doll and some play shoes and an iron.
