Show Ladies Literary Club sets party tonight Luncheon was the first order for memebrs of the Ladies Literary Lit-erary Club who met at the home of Lela Packard at the clubs last meeting. Special guests for the occasion included includ-ed Lucille Lanev. Allip finhlp and Betty Sumsion. President Julie Sumsion conducted con-ducted the meeting and Clara Sumsion read the collect. Betty Sumsion played two piano selections. se-lections. Helen Crandall gave the report from the legislative council meeting. Norma Mc-Konzie Mc-Konzie gave the program and presented her paper on the pros and cons of TV. She gave a history of TV from its beginning begin-ning to the present time and told of the controls and interesting inter-esting facets of the progress of television. A short business session was held and the Christmas party announced for the club tonight at the home of Jessie Dalton. |
