Show New president for chamber (Cont. from page one) created a surprising amount of good publicity for Springville. He distributed copies of the new Springville brochures bro-chures throughout the state which have also done considerable con-siderable good for the city's tourist trade. Kenneth instigated the Business-E d u cation Breakfast Break-fast at which teachers were guests of the local business men and exchanged ideas on common goals and problems. He has also been active in formulating and carrying out other successful public events in the name of the Chamber. Other business taken up at the November board meeting included discussions of the Understanding Economics Econ-omics course to be offered soon by the Chamber, a report re-port on the tree planting campaign sponsored by the shade tree commission which will be responsible to have evergreens planted along Main Street in another anoth-er step to city beautification and a detailed outline of the coming Christmas promotion pro-motion by W. L. Snelson, chairman of the event. |
