Show : Citizens bring various problems to Monday city council meeting The regular meeting of the Springville City Council was held Monday in the council chambers of the civic center with Mayor F. Calvin Packard in the chair. A group of citizens in the Westside School area, headed by Mrs. Max Alleman, met with the council to discuss the excessive speed along 400 So. Street west to the freeway. Also, Al-so, the inadequte signing of this roadway. The city chief of police and this group are to write letters to the state requesting re-questing that something be done about these problems. by CI. After a discussion of the problems involved, the mayor requested the City Recorder Re-corder to show in the minutes that he was opposed to the proposal insomuch as it would require the city to make an exception to established policy. pol-icy.
