Show AH Citizens Party candidates approved by Springville voters z. : . i V Lb I j Springville voters elected the entire Citizen ticket as they marked their bollots here Tuesday Tues-day in the city election to name three councilmen in the off year election. This was the second consecutive sweep by the Citizens, having had every candidate voted into office in the 1965 election. Winning council posts for the next four years were Kenneth Ken-neth "Doc" Creer, who tallied the highest count, Calvin Baxter Bax-ter and Murray "Mutt" Peay, the latter being returned to office of-fice as an incumbent. The newly new-ly elected officials will take office Jan. 1. Creer polled 1445 votes; Baxter, 1412 and Peay, 1385. Despite the off year election, the campaign carried on in the city by the two parties was an active, spirited one and brought out a highly commend- ; able vote.
