Show Mtnunity asset ' EDITORIAL After five long years of being without a movie jKatre, Springville is going to have one of which we oiay all be proud. The new Villa Theatre, formerly the Rivoli, will open next Wednesday, November 15, with the popular family movie, "Sound of Music." Those who have seen the picture will want to see it again and those ,.h0 have not seen it must make it a point to see it dur- .; jng the present run. We are assured by the theatre management that the finest pictures will be brought to Springville at the earliest possible date. There will be a children's matinee every ; Saturday afternoon with pictures qualified for the young. Carl Lind, manager of the new theatre, informs us that the movie house operation will be maintained at the ' highest level to insure maximum comfort and enjoyment or everyone. The building has been remodeled and renovated inside in-side and out. The seats are spaced to give excellent view- 0 from any location. The sound projection and acous-: acous-: ju cannot be surpassed, and with installation of new , lamp houses and new projection equipment, the picture on the screen will be second to none. We are sure the people of Springville and surround-r surround-r ;ng area join with us in anticipation of enjoyment and l entertainment in our own home-town theatre, which is a yeat asset to our commuity and one which we have (j needed for many years. Townspeople may express their appreciation to Mr. and Mrs. Lind for their faith in this community in com-; com-; jjg here and opening up the theatre thus improving appearance of the entire Main Street by patronizing ; . ie new theatre. |
