Show Civil Defense discussed at club meet At a dinner-meeting of the Hobble Creek Riding Club Friday Fri-day evening, attended by forty four members and their partners, part-ners, informative ta'ks on Civil Civ-il Defense were given by Lew Thorpe and Dr. James N. Nance, Springville Civil Defense De-fense chairmen. In connection with the talks, a film was shown on the subject, sub-ject, "Hospital for Distaster," and an explanation given on how to survive an initial fa'l-out fa'l-out blast. The speakers also described the 200-bed emergency emergen-cy hospital in the basement of the junior high school. Fred Diamond announced the program for the evening and introduced the speakers. A report re-port was also made on the participation par-ticipation of the Hobble Creek Riding Club in the search of the youth, Duane Hirst, lost during the deer hunt in Hobble Creek Canyon. Next meeting of the club was announced for Friday, December 1, the main business of which will be election of officers. |
