Show Defensive Driving Course r .aJPO '.'THE JUNK TREE." Students view "The Junk Tree" a sculpture made from found objects by Parowan Elementary Elemen-tary School students Kristen Allen, Stacie Bess, Paula Farrow, Jill Hammond, Lynette Louder, Kathy Rowley, and Eileen Trimmer. Discarded cans, rusty pipes and other "Discards" were ingeniously combined under the direction of SUSC art major and artist-in-residence Patti Allen. Viewing the "tree" are , 1. to r. Sean Schexnayder, Paul Lunt, and T.J.Tullis. The Annual Children's Art Exhibit was held in the gym at East Elementary and the show was open May 16 through 21. Utah's Defensive Driving Course is a continuing campaign of the Utah Safety Council to reduce highway deaths, injuries and property damage by educating every Utah driver in defensive driving techniques. The Defensive Driving Course is an eight-hour ' classroom course on professional techniques for high crash-avoidance. You can lessen the possibility of becoming a traffic victim by enrolling in the Defensive Driving Classes starting in St. George, Saturday, June 14, at the National Guard Armory, Ar-mory, 8:00 a.m. Learn the evasive actions necessary to avoid a traffic accident. The Registration Fee for the Defensive Driving Course is $12.00 per person. |
