Show t "Andrea Chenier" Opera Aired rj ,5 A L Ws The outstanding Spanish . tenor Placido Domingo sings the title role in Giordano's "Andrea Chenier", the fourth broadcast of the Beatrice Foods-Lyric Opera of Chicago series which will be aired Saturday over KGSU-FM. The opera begins at noon over the Southern Utah State College radio station, located at 90.1 merahertz on -the r radio dial. "Andrea Chenier" was presented in November, 1979, during LYric Opera's 25th anniversary celebration. It also features Eva Marton as Maddalena and Renato Bruson as Carlo Gerard. Artistic director Bruno Bartoletti conducts the Lyric Opera chorus and orchestra. The afternoon opera is based on the life of a young poet of the French Revolution.
