Show Topham., dies Services Held I ! Bertha Alice Topham, 83, r died May 18, 1980 at the Dixie Hospital in St. George. Born October 15, 1896 in v Parowan, to Joseph and I Alice M. Yardley Stevens. I Married Joseph Ernest I Topham April 3, 1918 in the I i Salt Lake Temple. He died J Jan. 2 2, 1953. Bertha was a I homemaker and an active i member of the LDS Church. I She was a member of the ' Daughters of Utah Pioneers I and the American Legion I Auxiliary. I She is survived by three I sons and a daughter; Ddyle i f S. of Delta; Mrs. Raymond I I (Marie) Berrie of Kerns; I I Ivan V. (Frosty) of ! Washington, Ut.; and LaNell I I S. of Modesto, CA. Also I I surviving are 25 grand- " I children, 13 great grandly grand-ly children; 2 brothers and 4 sisters; Arnold Y. of Mount Pleasant; J. Hillman of f Ogden; Marie Smith of I Granger; Violet Squire and j Ada Hullinger both of Salt Lake City, and Mrs. Tracy (Lois) Blood of Cedar City. Funeral services were s held Wednesday, May 21, I : 1980 at 1:00 p.m. in the Paragonah LDS Ward Chapel with Bishop Clark Lamoreaux conducting. The family prayer was offered by J. Hillman Stevens with Wilma Lamoreaux playing the prelude, postlude music and Doyle B. Topham gave the invocation. Musical selections consisted of a ladies trio singing "In The Garden" and "Mother". The ladies were Hazel Jean Robinson, Earline Henderson Hen-derson and Lana Roberts and they were accompanied by Wilma Lamoreaux. A piano solo by Judy Berrie "Whispering Hope" and a vocal solo by Myron Abbott "How Great Thou Art". A tribute was given by Kathy Topham and the Speakers were LaNell S. Topham, Arnold Y. Stevens and President Howard Knight with remarks by Bishop Clark Lamoreaux. The benediction was offered by Tracy Blood and Kenneth G. Topham dedicated the grave. Interment was in the Paragonah Cemetery under the directioriof the Sp'ilsbury & Graff Mortuary. |
