Show Williams retires from FAA ft After a career of over 20 years with the Federal Aviation Administration as an electronics technician, Gordon .Williams retired from Government service. Williams was responsible for the electronic maintenance of various air navigation facilities throughout southern Utah and discharged these duties in an exemplary manner. His supervisors characterize him as being loyal, dependable, depen-dable, honest and dedicated to the job. Williams was honored at a retirement dinner at Bud's Deserada where over 40 friends and fellow employees em-ployees wished him well and bon voyage. Besides being "roasted" concerning some of his work habits and idiosyncrasies, Williams was warmly and sincerely complimented by all who attended. As his supervisor. Keith Carter, put it, "They don't make 'em like Gordon any more". His presence GORDON WILLIAMS will be missed. Gordon and his wife, Carol, will be retiring here in Cedar City where they reside at 495 South 150 West. |
