Show William Radford, 67 dies at Beryl William Edward Radford, age 67, died February 20, 1980 at his home in Beryl. He was born April 5, 1912 in Philadephia, Pa. to Frank and Clara Kruze Radford. On September 26, 1940 he married his sweetheart Ruth Elizabeth Burns in Wood-' bury, New Jersey. He was a member of the Methodist Church, a Mason and also a member of the Escalante Valley LionsCIubs, presently serving as 2nd vice president. He liked hunting, fishing, animals and children. He was supervisor : for General Motors. Survivors include his wife of Beryl one son and one daughter: William David of San Jose, CA and Mrs. Gary (Jacqueline) Reber of Las ; Vegas, NV; four grandchildren grand-children and two sisters: Mrs. Michael (Mae) Letzgus . fo Woodbury, New Jersey and Dorthy Clara Ellis of Camden, New Jersey. Funeral services were held Saturday February 23, ; 1980 at 1:00 p.m. in the Beryl ' Community Building. Family prayer was offered : by Gary Reber with Bishop ' Laub officiating. Carla , Anzalone played the prelude and postlude music. Carma Beacham sang "Old Rugged Cross" accompanied by Carla Anzalone. Invocation was offered by Robert Holt and an eulogy ' by Carrol Stadtlander. Michael Howery was the speaker followed by a Ladies Chorus singing "In the Garden" and "O My Father". They were accompanied ac-companied by Carla Anzalone. An-zalone. Bishop Laub gave closing remarks with Marvin Bracken offering the benediction. Gary Reber gave the dedicatory prayer followed by Masonic graveside rites. Interment was in the New Castle Cemetery under the direction of Boyer Southern Utah Mortuary. |
