Show VIRGIN Minerva Earl Reporter Lieut, and Mrs. Jack Schofield were here recently from Fort Sumner visiting with Sylvester Earl, father of Mrs. Schofield. Mrs. Thomas Schofield, mother of the Lieutenant joined them at Las Vegas for the trip. While here they were remarried in the St. George Temple. Lieut. Schofield Scho-field reported at Randolph Field, Texas, July 11. Miss Corinne Cornelius and her sister-in-law, Mrs. Edward Cornelius Corn-elius have returned to Reno, after visiting in Virgin for several days. Their mother, Mrs. Henry Cornelius Corn-elius accompanied them home to Virgin. She has been visiting for several weeks in Los Angeles, Sparks and Reno. Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Prothero of Sparks, Nev., have moved here for the summer. They are located lo-cated for the present at the 101 Ranch. Bertrand Ruesch has returned to Los Angeles to resume his work at Vega aircraft. He left his children, Lester, Myrna and1 ' David with their grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Wilcox. Cpl. James Cornelius has re-turned re-turned to his post in California after spending a few days here Mrs. Lee Wilson visited friends in Virgin over the week end She was enroute to Grand Rapids Mich., to join her husband, who is stationed there. Mrs. Sarah Spendlove visited the past few days in Cedar City with her daughter, Mrs. Rose Schow, who is recovering fr0m recent surgery. James H. Cornelius is reported slightly improved at the Iron county hospital, where he underwent under-went major surgery recently. t |
