Rating Among the graduates at Pecos, Texas Air Field June 26; was Earl Richard Milne, husband' of Ora Sandberg Milne of Washington-and Washington-and son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph J; Milne of St. George. He- received' his silver wings and' was-commis'-sioned Second Lieutenant' ih the graduation ceremonies of the Advanced Two-Engine Pilot School of Pecos Army Air Field'. Lieut Milne had' his primary training at Twenty-Nine Palms, Calif. He was assigned to Pecos Army Air Field' from Lemoore, Calif, where he- received his secondary sec-ondary traihihg and is among the first group- to- complete the Army Air Corps new- 15 month training program, covering the basic, primary, pri-mary, advanced' and commission. He admits- this program "keeps a fellow flying'" but says he has enjoyed every phase of the training. train-ing. Before entering military service Lieut. Milne was enrolled at the University of Utah. His wife and small daughter, Sherron, are making their home with her parents in Washington during his absence. |
