Show SANTA CLARA Miss Amanda Graff Reporter Sylvan Graff was at Las Vegas over the week end on business. Mr. and Mrs. Rumell Ence and family were at the home of Mr. Ence's mother, Mrs. Lena Ence over the week end. Mrs. Walter Cottam of Salt Lake City was visiting here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Frei. Professor Buggert of Provo is a guest at the home of his daughter, daugh-ter, Mrs. Kenneth Ence. A cottage meeting was held Sunday on Henry Graff's lawn. Speakers were Archie Tobler, Haven Paxman and G. D. Hyatt. A farewell party was given Monday evening for Reed Gray, who is leaving for Army induction soon. A group of Santa Clara girls were guests at a shower in St. George in honor of Miss Grace Aleen Foremaster. Due to the shortage of pipe water, the town has been requested re-quested to conserve water. The 4-H club and their instructor, instruc-tor, Mrs. Helen Hafen left Tuesday Tues-day for Pine Valley for the outing. Mrs. Joseph Graff is leaving Tuesday for Salt Lake City to visit with her daughter, Mrs. Mark Sowby and family. Mrs. Harvey Frehner of Alamo, Nev., was at the home of her mother, Mrs. Anna Gubler and family during the week. M'-s. Thomas Bladen of Cedar City was visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George E. Tobler. |
