Show Mrs. Glen T. McMillan left on the early morning bus Monday for Sacramento to visit her husband hus-band who is stationed at nearby Camp Koliler. She left their small daughter, Carole Ann, with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. S Simmons. :! The O. K. Market entertained their employees on the Red Hill Tuesday evening with a picnic and melon bust. Invited guests included Mr. and Mrs. Val Mc-Arthur Mc-Arthur and Sgt. and Mrs. Therol McArthur, Mrs. Alma Kunz, Mrs. Sam Bringhurst and Mrs. Gene Woods of Salt Lake City Mrs. J. C. Keate and Mrs. Mae Snow left Wednesday morning for Salt Lake City where they will visit relatives and friends and transact business. ot. .it. -1,' -J.- Miss Lois Kemp is spending this, week visiting with relatives in Salt Lake 'City. -v.- jr. Mrs. C. W. Ibsen and two sons, Jerry and Lee, spent last week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Carl L. Moss. They were enroute from Camp Cook, Calif., to Fremont, Fre-mont, Neb. Mrs. Moss' two sons, Louie and Harry Lundin accompanied accom-panied the Ibsens to Nebraska for an extended visit. Mrs. Ibsen is a sister-in-law of Mrs. Moss and has been with her sons to visit her husband, who has been ordered overseas. The A. E. R.T. club met Wednesday, Wed-nesday, July 12 at the home of Miss Aileen Cannon. Members of the club include: Ella Empey, Evelyn Empey, Tana Seegmiller, Ruth Fawcett, Renee Lund, Elna Huntsman and Arlene Slade. The evening was spent sewing and visiting. vis-iting. Refreshments were served. Miss Vera Wulffenstein underwent under-went surgery at the local hospital hos-pital July 7. Mr. and Mrs. Elbert Nelson and two small sons arrived this week from Sacramento. Mr. Nelson went to Marysvale where he has an assignment, Mrs. Nelson and boys remaining to visit her parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Fawcett and other relatives in St. George, and with her husband's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alma Nelson in Washington. Mrs. Phil Reid and baby arrived Wednesday from Kanab. She came back recently from San Francisco, where she has been visiting her husband, Metalsmith Reid of the U. S. Navy, who is now on overseas over-seas duty. Mr. and Mrs. H. L. Reid returned re-turned as far as Salt Lake City Sunday from an extended trip. Mr. Reid attended the National Educational conference in Pittsburgh, Pitts-burgh, Mrs. Reid remaining in Chicago to visit their son, Eldon Reid and family. Enroute home they stopped in Lincoln, Neb., to visit another son, Heber J. Reid, who is attending school there. Mrs. Reid arrived home Monday, Mr. Reid remaining in Salt Lake City tq attend summer school. |
