Show Red Cross To Sponsor Swimming Classes Here July 17th Thru 29th The American Red Cross is providing pro-viding an expert instructor for the Swimming Campaign to be held at the St. George Municipal Pool from Monday, July 17 to Thursday, July 29, inclusive, announces an-nounces Mrs. Roxie S. Romney, county Red Cross chairman. Twelve days of intensive training will be given to all who are interested inter-ested in giving their time and energy to this program. Classes will be held both mornings and evenings in order to make the course available to as many as possible. Classes for the Campaign will be arranged as nearly as possible to meet the desires of the various groups, states Mrs. Romney. A temporary schedule will provide for the enrollment and the best possible arrangements will be made for subsequent classes. Should groups from the county outside of St. George desire to participate in this training, the schedule will be made to include them in the program. Those'inter-ested Those'inter-ested should contact Mrs. Romney if possible prior to July 17, giving the number interested and the hours when they could most conveniently con-veniently be present. "This swimming campaign course would be worth the time necessary to complete it," say the local officers. "Learning the best methods of swimming, personal safety in the water and other instruction will be given and is free to all who are interested," reports Mrs. Romney. |
