Show Over 100 4-H Club Girls Attend Encampment More than 100 girls of Washington county, representing 20 4-11 clubs, left Tuesday forenoon for Pine Valley recreation center whore the 1944 tri-county encampment is being held, reports county director, di-rector, Mrs. Anson Call. Thr groups were accompanied by their respective leaders and will participate partici-pate in the special training and camp activities to be conducted under the direction of state 4-11 club officials. Iron, Kane and Washington county clubs participate annually in this encampment program. In 1943 it was held at Navajo Lake. Just how many will be able to attend this year from Kane county is not known, but according to reports there will be a big attendance attend-ance from Iron county and an effective program has been arranged ar-ranged to occupy the three days, Tuesday over Thursday. |
